This course provides an introduction to computer aided design and manufacturing. Topics covered in this course include input output devices, raster graphics, polygon filling, windowing and clipping, clipping of polygons, 2D transformations, perspective projections, projections and hidden surface removal, Galerkin's approach, 1D finite element problems, quadratic shape functions, modeling of curves, modeling of B-spline curves, solid modeling, computer aided design, and computer aided manufacturing.
